Job summary

KBR is seeking an War Reserve Equipment - Aerospace Ground Support Equipment (WRM-AGE) Mechanic to support Morón Air Base in Spain. You will inspect, maintain, and repair AGE/GSE to support USAF missions and flight-line operations.

You will work with seasoned technicians in a mission-critical, international setting while transitioning military experience into a civilian defense role at a global leader.

Qualifications

• US citizen with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of AGE/GSE maintenance experience in military or civilian aviation.
• Must meet USAF AFSC 2A6X2 or 2W0X1 journeyman or equivalent.
• Experience using ELMS/IMDS to track maintenance actions.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (Section 608) or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain US Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AGE/GSE including MMHE trailers, aluminum rail sets, and conveyors.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on support equipment.
• Use maintenance databases such as ELMS/IMDS to record actions and track status.
• Ensure maintenance complies with technical orders, specs, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to regulations.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
