Job summary

Watco Transloading is seeking a Walking Foreman to oversee port and labor operations across vessel, yard and terminal in Houston. You will ensure safety compliance, coordinate with the Superintendent and Gang Foreman, inspect work areas and assist with cargo handling as needed.

The role requires strong communication and safety adherence, including wearing mandatory gear and navigating vessel access points. 12-hour shifts, day or night, with variable schedules are common.

Qualifications

• HAZMAT and PIT certifications required or obtainable.
• TWIC required.
• Valid driver license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee port and labor operations across vessel, yard and terminal.
• Coordinate with supervisors, inspect work areas and assist with cargo handling.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and workers wear required gear at all times.
• Fill in for various operational roles as needed and coordinate labor and safety issues.
