Watco Transloading in Houston, TX is seeking a Stevedore / Laborer to support terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations. The role offers an hourly pay of $17.00 with 12-hour shifts on an on-site schedule. Location: 14035 Industrial Rd., Houston, TX 77015.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, material handling, and basic maintenance, performed safely per SOPs. Expected to work flexible day/night shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualificações

• Read, write, and communicate in English and understand basic math.
• Must be able to pass and/or obtain all required reporting, testing, and certifications for this position.

Job Summary

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: 12 hour shifts with no set schedule - including day or night shifts and weekend shifts as needed

A Stevedore / Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of manual and equipment-assisted tasks to support terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations. Including but not limited to, loading, unloading, material handling, and basic maintenance. Ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports daily terminal, vessel, and warehouse operations
• Communicates with superintendents, foremen, and management to determine staffing needs and prioritize workflow
• Operate and maintain equipment for safe transfer of materials between silos, railcars, barges, and vessels
• Supports communication between drivers, warehouse teams, and management using radio and digital systems
• Adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), PPE policies, and all safety and environmental regulations
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and additional operational duties as assigned to support terminal and vessel efficiency
