Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to perform essential job functions.
• Qualification includes safe operation of blast equipment and adherence to safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Loads castings into walk-in cabinet manually or with hoists.
• Masks tooling points as needed and regulates blast exposure.
• Directs sand or shot blasts with hand-held nozzles and avoids over-processing.
• Removes all blast media from cavities for downstream processes.
• Visually inspects parts for uniform color and material removal.
• Operates blast equipment in cabinet and maintains clean work area.
