Qualifications

• Cleaning and blasting skills as demonstrated by the competent performance of all Sandblaster/Shotblaster duties.
• Ability to work independently.
• Follow instructions and read routers or process cards.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Physical ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Loads castings into walk-in cabinet manually or with hoist.
• Operates sand/shot blasting with handheld nozzles, moves nozzle across surface.
• Inspects blasted parts for uniform color and material removal.
• Maintains walk-in equipment and keeps work area clean.
• Follows safety rules and uses PPE as required.
