Qualifications

• Cleaning and blasting skills as demonstrated by the competent performance of all Sandblaster and Shotblaster duties are preferred OR An equivalent combination of classroom training and work experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow instructions and read Technique Cards or routers.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Blast operations to remove shell, scale, and grinding marks from castings.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and checks.
• Maintain safe work practices and follow safety rules.
• Meet production and quality standards.
• Perform other tasks as directed.
