Berkshire Waldorf School is seeking a part-time Aftercare teacher for January 2027 – June 2027 in Great Barrington, MA. The role runs Monday through Thursday from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, caring for students aged 8-14 and guiding aftercare activities until pickup at 5:15 PM.

Responsibilities include welcoming families, coordinating snacks, monitoring safety, and collaborating with the Director of Education on rhythms. CPR/First Aid training is required and may be provided by the school.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree and Waldorf Teacher Certificate (or training) preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training required.

Responsabilidades

• On campus Monday through Thursday, 2:30PM-5:30PM on school days.
• Receive the students, ages 8-14, continuing their day up to 5:15PM.
• Coordinate with the Director of Education on programmatic rhythms.
• Interface with Extended Day Aftercare Coordinator to ensure tutoring during aftercare hours.
• Greet parents warmly and assist with aftercare questions/needs.
• Confirm that all students have been picked up and signed out by an authorized adult.
• Organize and distribute snacks.
• All other duties as assigned by the School Directors.
