Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Tingley to provide safe, calm, and meaningful night-time care for three gentlemen living together. You'll follow support plans, record information using IT systems, and ensure dignity and wellbeing throughout the night.

You'll work Wednesday to Sunday night shifts, bring empathy, patience and reliability, and help create a secure environment while promoting inclusion and respect within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people who communicate needs through distress behaviours.
• Ability to use IT systems to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular keeping safe checks to ensure residents feel secure.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic space that is welcoming and safe.
• Record important information using IT systems from support plans to health logs.
• Create a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing at night.
• Support people to enjoy their nights in ways that matter to them.
• Provide personal care when needed with dignity and respect.
