Job summary

STARC of Louisiana, Inc. in Mandeville, LA is seeking a Waiver Administrator to oversee the coordination, administration and direction of all waiver and center-based respite programs, including budgeting, staffing, and program QA oversight.

The ideal candidate will hold a related bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of supervisory experience, plus at least one year working with individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, counseling, special education or social work preferred.
• Two years of experience with minimum one year supervisory experience.
• One year of work experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination, administration and direction of waiver and center-based respite programs.
• Assist with planning, budgeting and staffing; lead program activities.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and STARC policies.
• Supervise Waiver Services QIDP’s, Case Manager and office staff.
• Develop and maintain program records, reports and QA processes.
