The Arc of Central Alabama is seeking a Community Waiver Coordinator to manage day-to-day administration of waiver services for an assigned caseload. You will ensure services align with each Person-Centered Plan and meet ADMH requirements, coordinating documentation, scheduling, and communication among staff, families, and coordinators.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience with individuals with IDD or in human services.
• Pass statewide/criminal background check; no violence/abuse-related convictions.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen; TB test if required by AMA.
• Valid AL driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Complete required ADMH/IPMS and person-centered plan training within 90 days.
• ECF program completion required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Person-Centered Plans across residential, day, and community services.
• Monitor service documentation for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Serve as a point of contact for families, guardians, and coordinators.
• Assist in scheduling and staffing to ensure consistent coverage.
• Track and follow up on action items from planning meetings.
• Prepare for audits, surveys, and accreditation reviews.
• Identify and report critical incidents or abuse per IPMS.
• Guide Direct Support Professionals on plan implementation and docs.
• Monitor billing/utilization data for caseloads and flag discrepancies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and planning.
