Job summary

Community Family Advocates, working on-site at Allegheny County DHS, seeks a Priority Planning Specialist. The role focuses on implementing the Administrative Entity Agreement with the Office of Developmental Programs, managing waiting lists, waiver enrollment, and service authorization, while coordinating with Service Coordination Units and Families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with 1 year of experience
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for community travel
• Experience working with families in the field of intellectual disability is preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal standards and policies related to waivers and service delivery

Responsibilities

• Assist with waiting list management and planning activities for waiver enrollment and service authorization
• Support IPC and ISP planning using Lifecourse tools and provider information
• Update spreadsheets/databases (ISP alerts, planning lists, intensive needs, vacancy management)
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and policy adherence
• Attend regular meetings and participate in program operation reviews and system updates
