Dartmouth Health is hiring a Dining Room Attendant to provide an enjoyable dining experience for residents and guests in a hospital setting. You will adhere to safety, sanitation, and service standards under the direction of the Dining Room Manager and Director of Food Services.

POSITION PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to see and hear, or to use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that position requirements can be fully met.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate a fire extinguisher.
• Must have the ability to push a sweeper and wipe the complete surface of a table, mop floor.
• Push/Pull/Lift/Carry:
• Must be a minimum of fifteen (15) years of age; capable of standing and walking for up to an 8-hour shift; carrying and balancing a 10 to 15 pound tray; frequent stooping and bending; and lifting, pushing, pulling and moving a minimum of 30 pound cart.

PART TWO:FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Position Objective

The primary purpose of this job position is to be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guests in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our establish policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Dining Room Manager and/or Director of Food Services, to assure that quality service is provided at all times.
