Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring waitstaff to join our dining team, ensuring residents receive attentive service and a welcoming dining experience. You will set tables, take orders, review menus with residents, and assist with food preparation, delivery and cleanup.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided; strong English communication and basic sanitation knowledge are essential for daily routines and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Effective verbal and written English is required for resident interaction.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• No prior experience needed; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, take dining orders and provide high level service.
• Review menus with residents and introduce dining options.
• Assist with preparation, delivery and cleanup of meals and events.
• Foster teamwork and positive resident relationships.
• Clean and sanitize dining room areas and equipment.

What You Will Do As a Waitstaff

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
