Job summary

Atria Senior Living is hiring waitstaff in Lexington to ensure excellent dining service for residents. You will set and clear tables, take dining orders, and help with meal delivery and event support in a supportive, resident-focused environment.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, and employees receive paid training, plus a comprehensive benefits package. This role emphasizes teamwork and high-quality resident interactions at meal times.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Effective verbal and written English skills.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide high level customer service.
• Review menus with residents and explain dining options.
• Assist with preparation, delivery, and cleanup of meals, banquets, and events.
• Foster teamwork and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize dining room areas and equipment.

What You Will Do As a Waitstaff

• Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
• Assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
• Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
