Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and promptly; take food and beverage orders efficiently, following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain food safety and sanitation standards; assist guests with additional needs or requests.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary needs and allergens.
• Communicate with back-of-house staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests are met.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills; be flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Handle tickets and cash following proper procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
• Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
• Address complaints or issues promptly; relay information to supervisors.
• Ensure the dining area is set up and cleaned properly before and after service, meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment like fire extinguishers, telephones, and coffee machines.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
