Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adheres to liquor regulations regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Sets up bars, stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Maintains stock and quality of garnishes and perishables.
• Greets guests courteously.
• Processes drink orders, mixes and garnishes drinks, practices portion control.
• Checks IDs for guests.
• Detects guest intoxication and acts accordingly, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Handles cash, verifies charges, records transactions, and manages vouchers.
• Secures beverage and food inventory, equipment, and cash.
• Performs cleaning tasks to ensure health and safety standards.
• Arranges bottles and glasses attractively.
• Washes and sterilizes stemware.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
