Job Description: Waiter/Waitress at Morrison Living

Morrison Living is hiring immediately for part-time WAITER/WAITRESS positions.

• Location: Village Pointe Commons - 101 Walnut Circle, Grafton, WI 53024
• Schedule: Part-time, with shifts from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm or 11:00 am to 7:00 pm; days may vary. Rotating weekends are required. More details provided during interview.
• Requirement: No previous experience required.

• Pay Range: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverage orders following established service steps.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally; maintain food safety and sanitation standards. Follow up to assist with additional needs.
• Understand menu items and ingredients; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests are met.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient when interacting with guests and staff.
• Handle tickets and cash transactions properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
• Respect confidentiality regarding personal or medical information.
• Address complaints promptly and relay issues to supervisors.
• Set up and clean the dining area before and after service, meeting sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, soda machines, and coffee makers.
• Collaborate with other departments during special events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
