• Location: Winchester Gardens - 333 Elmwood Avenue, Maplewood, NJ 07040.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days, nights, weekends, and holidays. More details upon interview.

Role Summary

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items efficiently to dining guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly; take and deliver orders following established service steps.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards; assist with guest needs and requests.
• Understand menu items; advise guests on food and drink pairings; accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure correct order delivery and special requests.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills; remain flexible and patient.
• Handle tickets and cash transactions properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for guests.
• Respect confidentiality of personal and medical information.
• Address guest complaints promptly; communicate issues to supervisor.
• Prepare and clean dining areas; meet sanitation standards.
• Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines.
• Assist during special events and collaborate with other departments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
