Job summary

White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community in La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join the Dining Services Department for part-time on-call shifts. Expect duties including greeting residents, taking and inputting orders via POS, and assisting with dining room setup and service.

Qualifications include restaurant or fast-food experience, senior population exposure, and a Food Handler/ServSafe certification. Availability on holidays, evenings and weekends is required.

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in the dining room.
• Record food and beverage orders and input into POS system.
• Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed.
• Set up, clear and clean dining room, ensuring tables are clean and disinfected.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages.
• Provide effective and courteous service to residents, guests, vendors, and team members.
• Note safety concerns and repairs and report to supervisor.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy rules and company policies.

White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA is seeking individuals to join our Dining Services Department. Shifts Part Time: On Call

Pay Range/Hour: $19-$20/hr based on experience

Job Duties:

• Greets residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room.
• Record food and beverage orders and input into POS system.
• Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed.
• Set up, clear and clean dining room ensuring tables are clean and disinfected.
• Take orders, serve food and beverages.
• Provide effective and courteous services to all residents, guests, vendors and fellow team members.
• Takes note of safety concerns and needed repairs and reports to supervisor.
• Adheres to HIPPA privacy rules and company policies.
