Job summary

White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community in La Jolla, CA, seeks a Housekeeper to join our team. The role involves maintaining clean and sanitary conditions across resident homes, common areas and dining spaces, with a Sunday-Thursday shift from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The pay range is $19–$20.50 per hour, depending on experience.

• Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written in English)
• Previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, guests, vendors and fellow team members
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as resident homes/apartments, common, dining and other areas throughout the community; Clean resident bathroom, kitchen, living and bedroom areas
• Dust, clean, sweep, mop, vacuum, wash areas as appropriate; Empty trash, spot clean carpets
• Maintain an organized and stocked work cart
• Take note of safety concerns and needed repairs and report to supervisor
• Ensure that clinical areas are sanitized in accordance with established Infectious Disease Control policies & procedures
