Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center in Rockford, IL is seeking reliable Wait Staff to support our Dining Services team. You will serve meals to residents, maintain a clean dining environment, and assist with dishwashing and food service tasks in a compassionate, seniors-focused setting.

This full-time position offers competitive starting pay of $15.00 to $15.45 per hour, with benefits including insurance options, FSA, 403(b), PTO, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout a shift.
• Able to read, understand, and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests.
• Understand and follow special dietary requirements when serving food.
• Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays.
• Set and clear dining room tables.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen and dining equipment.
• Clean tables, chairs, and dining room floors after meals.
• Complete daily cleaning checklists.
• Protect resident privacy and follow HIPAA regulations.
• Build positive relationships with residents and coworkers.
• Follow sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures.
• Report any concerns involving resident safety, abuse, neglect, or resident rights.

Starting Pay: $15.00 - $15.45 per hour

Available Schedules

Full-Time

• 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Weekdays and weekends

Part-Time

• 15 to 20 hours per week
• 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM
• Weekdays and weekends
