Carlton Senior Living in Pleasant Hill, CA is hiring as Wait Staff to support dining services for residents. Take orders using POS, ensure timely delivery, and maintain dining room cleanliness in a warm, collaborative team.

The role emphasizes accommodating dietary needs, teamwork with kitchen staff, safety, and resident satisfaction. Schedule includes Thursday through Monday with on-call slots; pay range $17.50–$18.50 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with residents and team members.
• Ability to follow dietary guidelines and pay close attention to residents’ allergies, restrictions, and preferences.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, considering residents’ dietary needs and restrictions.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders and check in regularly to guarantee resident satisfaction during meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Dining Room, Café, and Kitchen areas throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with the Wait Staff and Kitchen team to provide smooth and efficient meal service for all residents.
• Support safety protocols, emergency plans, and elopement prevention practices.
• Foster a warm, collaborative atmosphere with residents, families, and team members.

What we are hiring for:

Schedule:

• Thursday - Monday 11:20pm - 7:30pm
• On Call 7am-11am, 11:20am-2:30pm, or 4:20pm-7:30pm
• Must be available weekends.

Pay Range:

$17.50 - $18.50
