Job summary

Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a Guest Services and Traffic Attendant to create a safe, welcoming arrival experience for hotel residents, guests and visitors. You will assist with luggage, direct traffic in the porte-cochere, and help ensure ADA accessibility and safety standards are followed.

We offer full-time or part-time schedules in Honolulu, Oahu (Waikiki) with an hourly pay rate of $20.00–$24.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License required.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in English and Japanese (verbal, reading and writing) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and visitors upon arrival in a friendly and professional manner.
• Direct guests with luggage to the ADA elevator and discourage escalator use for large items.
• Assist guests with carrying luggage when appropriate and safe.
• Monitor vehicle traffic in the porte cochere to maintain an orderly flow.
• Direct arriving and departing vehicles to loading/unloading locations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
