The Wagner-Peyser Coordinator has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, assisting students in enrolling in appropriate trainings programs. This position is also responsible for assisting with admissions processes, collecting student success data, collecting follow‑up employment, and assisting students in securing post‑graduation employment. This is a full‑time, two (2) year, grant‑funded position, that reports to the Executive Director of Workforce Development and Continuing Education Department.
Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to remain in a stationary position most of the time; move to various locations on campus; move about inside an office to access documents, office equipment, etc.; and operate a computer or other office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine.
Social Requirements: This position is student facing and requires extensive social contact. Employees must be prepared to work closely with students, work closely with employers (both in person and by phone), be active in job fairs and recruiting fairs, and to present program related materials in public venues.
