Qualifications

• At least five years of litigation experience with California employment law knowledge.
• Active membership in the California Bar.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Experience with discovery, depositions, motions, and strong writing skills.
• Ability to handle complex wage-and-hour matters with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy and drive matters from start to resolution.
• Take and defend depositions and manage substantial written discovery.
• Research, draft, and argue substantive motions, including dispositive and class actions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other key litigation documents.
• Evaluate strategy for representative actions under PAGA.
• Analyze wage/hour issues including employee classification and wage calculations.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues across the labor and employment practice.
