Qualifications

• Five+ years of litigation experience with strong foundation in California employment law.
• Active California Bar membership required.
• Experience with wage and hour disputes, class and representative actions is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with discovery, depositions, motions, and legal writing.

Responsabilités

• Develop litigation strategy from early assessment through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions and manage significant written discovery.
• Research, draft, and argue dispositive and class-related motions.
• Prepare pleadings, briefs, and other key litigation documents.
• Evaluate and develop strategy for PAGA actions.
• Analyze wage and hour issues: employee classification, regular-rate, meal/rest periods, wage statements, waiting-time penalties.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues across the labor and employment practice.
