Job summary

Ogletree Deakins is seeking experienced employment litigation attorneys in West Los Angeles to grow our Los Angeles market. The firm welcomes associates and counsels with expertise in wage and hour class/representative actions, PAGA, or single-plaintiff employment litigation, and related matters.

Responsibilities include drafting motions and pleadings, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings, conducting investigations, and handling matters through various stages

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and active California Bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably involving California employment law.
• Experience with wage and hour, class or representative actions, or single-plaintiff employment litigation is preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions and pleadings, manage discovery, and coordinate with clients and experts.
• Take and defend depositions; appear at hearings and court conferences.
• Conduct investigations and manage matters through various stages of litigation.
• Collaborate with partners on strategy and case management.
