Qualifications

3+ years of litigation, appellate, judicial clerkship, or employment law experience preferred.

Experience drafting substantive motions, briefs, and memoranda.
Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to synthesize complex legal issues into practical litigation strategies.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced litigation practice.

Responsibilities

Review case materials and pleadings to familiarize yourself with assigned matters.
Apply local rules and judge procedures to maximize litigation effectiveness.
Conduct in-depth legal research on wage & hour laws and related topics.
Draft motions, briefs, memoranda, and other substantive filings.
Assist litigators in developing case strategy through all phases of litigation.
Prepare legal analyses and position statements on complex issues.
Consult with teams on defenses, dispositive motions, and briefing strategies.
Provide legal support for mediation, arbitration, and trial prep.
Monitor wage & hour developments impacting pending litigation.
Collaborate with partners, associates, and paralegals to ensure quality advocacy.
