Job summary

Wolfspeed in New York is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to oversee wafer production from inception to completion, working with engineers to achieve world-class cycle times.

You will operate equipment across photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD, metrology, and related processes, perform wafer handling and logistics, and monitor data from the Operations Command Center to optimize movement.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 6 hours
• Lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Outlook
• Ability to multitask using multiple screens

Responsibilities

• Operate and qualify equipment in semiconductor process areas (photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD, metrology)
• Perform wafer handling: unpacking, releasing to process, packing for shipment
• Monitor data in Operations Command Center to optimize wafer movement
