Job summary

RTX in Goleta, California is seeking a Production Worker S3 for the Wafer area on the 2nd shift (2PM–10:30PM PST). This onsite role requires US citizenship and cleanroom experience, with responsibilities including wafer processing steps and data documentation.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of production experience in a cleanroom. Employment offers benefits and a comprehensive compensation package.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under program/contract.
• Minimum 2 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Must work in a class 100 cleanroom environment with bunny suit under yellow lights.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in a Safety-First work environment.
• Operate in a class 100 cleanroom and perform wafer and deposition steps.
• Work with supervision, leads and senior operators to meet area goals.
• Handle fragile hardware and small parts during processing.
• Rigorously follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.
• Execute specialized communications (pass downs).
