This role requires a related bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, 2+ years in supervision, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Five years of increasing challenging experience working in a manufacturing environment in the semiconductor industry.
• Two years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles, practices, and techniques.
• Knowledge of semiconductor industry specifically wafer fab production.
• Knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, Word documents, and presentations
• Knowledge and ability to use Statistical Process Control and Lean Manufacturing techniques
• Able to establish and implement KPI’s to monitor and measure production performance
• Able to analyze data, create various reports, and recommend corrective action
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of contractors, consultants, employees, and management
• Able to work productively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management
• Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Oversees Operators, Technicians, and Supervisors, evaluating performance and making personnel decisions.
• Ensures objectives in quality, productivity, yield, and cost are met.
• Sets workforce targets and coordinates with Staffing to meet recruitment goals.
• Develops and monitors KPIs for production and quality goals.
• Prepares and maintains production reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Improves compliance across manufacturing processes and personnel.
• Coordinates with maintenance to qualify and schedule tool repairs.
• Reviews product flows and prioritizes production scheduling.
• Identifies gaps in production to reduce scrap and cycle time.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies.
