Job summary

Headway Technologies, Inc. in Milpitas, CA seeks a Production Manager for wafer manufacturing to ensure quality, productivity, yield, and cost targets are met. You will oversee operators, technicians, and supervisors, develop KPI’s, and monitor QMS compliance.

Role requires leadership in a semiconductor environment, data-driven decision making, and strong communication across departments. Must be able to manage multiple production flows and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Manufacturing, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Five years of increasing challenging experience working in a manufacturing environment in the semiconductor industry.
• Two years of experience in a management or supervisory role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; knowledge of SPC and Lean Manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and directs the work of the Operators, Technicians, and Supervisors; evaluates performance and makes employment decisions.
• Ensures objectives in quality, productivity, yield, and cost are met.
• Develops KPI’s, production reports, and monitors production metrics.
• Maintains ISO 9001:2015 compliance and mentors staff on the QMS.
