Job summary

Headway Technologies, Inc. seeks an Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to supervise and perform repair and preventive maintenance of wafer fab tools.

You will analyze data, prepare reports, and update MPI instructions on a rotating D shift, ensuring tool performance and safety compliance on-site in Milpitas, CA. Requirements include a 4-year degree in engineering and 5 years of hands-on maintenance in a high-volume facility, with FabTime, MESA, JMP, and SPC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Five years of hands-on equipment maintenance in a high-volume manufacturing facility
• Experience using FabTime, MESA, JMP, and SPC
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Oversee non-exempt employees; train, evaluate performance, set targets, and manage promotions/terminations
• Ensure tool performance meets quality, yield, and uptime specs; on-site supervision
• Assist with tool selection, qualification, and optimization; monitor MTTR/MTBF/OEE and prepare reports
• Review and update Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI) to keep data current
• Maintain safety and company policies; manage vendor/field service activities; mentor staff
