Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Wafer Process Engineer in Cartersville, GA to optimize wafer manufacturing processes for capability, reliability, and capacity. You will oversee production, coordinate with vendors, and support training and administrative tasks within the Wafer Process team.

The role involves hands-on shop floor follow-up, DFMEA-based evaluations, and collaboration across Equipment, Utility, Quality, and other functions to ensure stable wafer supply for internal Cell production and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
3–5 years' experience in a process/manufacturing environment.
Industrial engineering background relevant to semiconductor, solar wafer slicing, or related industries.

Responsibilities

Drive stable mass production ramp-up and manage on-site operations.
Lead hands-on shop floor follow-up to troubleshoot production issues.
Strengthen process monitoring to detect defects and prevent escapes.
Collaborate with Equipment, Utility, Quality, and other teams to ensure stability.
Work with vendors and internal teams to address equipment issues and implement countermeasures.
Optimize processes for capability, reliability, and capacity; de-bottlenecking.
