Seagate Technology is seeking a Wafer Manufacturing intern to help drive efficiency and AI-enabled improvements in our state-of-the-art wafer factory in Bloomington, MN. You will collaborate with engineers and frontline managers on projects spanning yield, business processes, and governance, with opportunities to learn about our next-generation MOZAIC drives.

The role focuses on data processing, lean methods, and process mapping.

Qualifications

• Data processing and visualization skills required.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Understanding of Lean tools and methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compiling and organizing information to assist AI advancement.
• Observing operators to understand barriers to success and map processes.
• Collecting stakeholder input to design and implement solutions and present findings to management.
