Job summary

SemiGen, Inc. is seeking a Wafer Fab Technician in Londonderry, NH. Entry level or experienced candidates are welcome to apply to join a team focused on microelectronics, RF, analog, and semiconductors.

You will work with a mentor to grow skills in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment with strong work‑life balance. You will perform wafer/fab operations, inspections, and logbook maintenance while learning multiple process areas to support daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Understanding of semiconductor or thin film manufacturing processes.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work in a team.
• Able to follow detailed technical instructions.
• Strong communication skills and basic math.
• Comfort with using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).

Responsibilities

• Operate as a wafer fab or thin film lab operator.
• Learn multiple process areas to support daily production goals.
• Perform visual inspection of wafers/chips before and after processing.
• Identify malfunctioning equipment and submit maintenance requests.
• Accurately complete logbooks and processing forms.
• Maintain a clean area and uphold safety policies.

We are looking for a Wafer Fab Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Have had experience as an operator in a wafer fab or thin film fab.
• Be flexible to learn different functions in the lab to support daily production goals.
• Perform visual inspection on all wafers/chips before and after all processing.
• Identify any malfunctioning equipment and generate maintenance request.
• Correctly complete all logbooks and forms related to processing.
• Clean area daily or more frequently if needed.
• Promote and maintain safety in the workplace by following all company safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and report unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions or practices.

Requirements

• Has a good understanding of how semiconductor or thin film manufacturing works and is interested in being trained in multiple process areas.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to accurately follow detailed technical instructions.
• Solid basic math skills.
• Working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Must be a legal US resident and authorized to work in the United States.
