Job summary

SemiGen is seeking a Wafer Fab Technician to join our team. Entry level or experienced if you are interested in microelectronics, RF, analog, and / or semiconductors, we have opportunities for you.

You will work with a mentor to cultivate your skills in support of production goals, while learning multiple functions in the lab and ensuring quality and safety in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of semiconductor or thin film processes
• Good manual dexterity
• Able to work in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Able to accurately follow detailed technical instructions
• Solid basic math skills
• Working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers

Responsibilities

• Have had experience as an operator in a wafer fab or thin film fab.
• Be flexible to learn different functions in the lab to support daily production goals.
• Perform visual inspection on all wafers/chips before and after all processing.
• Identify any malfunctioning equipment and generate maintenance request.
• Correctly complete all logbooks and forms related to processing.
• Clean area daily or more frequently if needed.
• Promote and maintain safety in the workplace by following all safety policies and report unsafe conditions.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a good understanding of how semiconductor or thin film manufacturing works and is interested in being trained in multiple process areas.


• Good manual dexterity

• Able to accurately follow detailed technical instructions.


• Solid basic math skills.


• Working knowledge of measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers


• Must be a legal US resident and authorized to work in the United States.
