Job summary

Keysight Technologies is hiring an R&D Wafer Fab Process Technician at the High Frequency Technology Center in Santa Rosa, California. The role focuses on plasma dry etch, PECVD, wet etch, electroplating, and related processes for high-performance RF/microwave components.

You will support engineers in process development and qualification, run experiments with minimal guidance, and help improve processes and data analysis using Excel and SPC tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate with strong aptitude in science and math.
• 3 years of expr in plasma etching, plasma deposition, wet etch, metal deposition, plating, and related wafer fab processes.
• Hands-on experience with advanced semiconductor device fabrication; III-V processing preferred.
• Knowledge of SPC and DOE is valued.
• Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform plasma etch, PECVD, wet etch, or plating on production and engineering wafers.
• Conduct system qualifications and process characterization.
• Data entry, analysis, and basic SPC tasks.
• Oversee test wafers for process qualification.
• Assist engineers with corrective actions and continuous improvement.
