Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to join the Manufacturing Operations Team. The role involves loading wafers into production equipment, verifying product specs against equipment settings, and monitoring equipment operation and productivity.

The position supports a 12-hour night shift with a 15% differential. The successful candidate will operate tools, participate in a self-directed team, and ensure safety and environmental health compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Able to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment.
• Must lift up to 25 pounds and frequently move it across distances.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing tools to process high quality product.
• Work in a self-directed team to meet daily goals.
• Interface with computer systems to perform duties.
• Make minor process adjustments and escalate as needed to a technician or engineer.
• Maintain safety and environmental health practices and programs.
• Use SPC to audit control charts.
