Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Wafer Fab Operator to join the Manufacturing Operations Team. You will load wafers into production equipment, verify product specs against equipment settings, monitor equipment operation, and monitor process pace to ensure quality and productivity.

The role requires a 12-hour shift, strong attention to detail, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Sign-on bonus included, paid in quarterly installments. You will work in a clean-room environment within a self-directed team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal).
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and move it over distances.
• Job requires standing and walking between tools for extended periods.
• Must push/pull typically about 100 lbs., up to 500 lbs with rolling carts.

Responsibilities

• Operating manufacturing tools to process high quality product.
• Work in a self-directed team to achieve daily goals.
• Interface with computer systems to perform duties.
• Operate tools to process wafers through manufacturing stages.
• Make minor corrections or adjustments and escalate when needed.
• Support safety requirements and environmental programs.
• Perform multi-functional wafer fabrication processes and equipment operations.
• Maintain required skill certifications.
• Use SPC to audit control charts.
• Maintain clean room protocols.
