Job summary

Wolfspeed's Silicon Drive Durham facility is seeking a Wafer Operations Maintenance Specialist to perform preventative and proactive maintenance on production equipment. You will interact with operations, process, and engineering to meet goals and support uptime on a 12-hour day or night shift.

The ideal candidate will have a high school education or GED, familiarity with electrical systems, and mechanical aptitude to work on advanced wafer fabrication equipment.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Mechanical aptitude due to the uniqueness of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment specifications.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance on paper and electronic checklists.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment according to manuals and schematics.
