Job summary

LP Building Solutions is seeking a dedicated Heat/Energy-Utility I (Dryer Aid) to support the operation of Dryers, WESP, RTOs, and a Thermal oil unit. The role emphasizes safe, efficient production of wafers and strict adherence to environmental and housekeeping standards.

You will assist in monitoring equipment, maintain clean and safe work areas, and support training to become the next Dryer Operator. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma and manufacturing experience, with the

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Manufacturing experience, preferably in a wood processing environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to wear a respirator.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; climb, bend, stoop, squat.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at height.

Responsibilities

Assist Dryer Operator in operation of Dryers, WESP, RTOs, and Thermal oil unit to ensure safe, efficient production of wafers.
Collect wafer samples from dryer and process them for moisture determination.
Set and adjust dryer controls when operating or starting processes.
Monitor equipment operation and adjust as requested or as needed.
Maintain equipment in a safe, clean condition and monitor pneumatic systems.
Train as a Relief Dryer Operator and prepare to become the next Dryer Operator.
Comply with safety rules and environmental and housekeeping standards.
