Job summary

Fresh Express in Grand Prairie, Texas is looking for dedicated workers to load and unload raw materials into dryers and conveyors. Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials into automatic dryers and manually dump product directly onto feed conveyors for the duration of the shift, typically 8 hours or more depending on volume and customer specification.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours or more).
• Perform repetitive motions such as push/pull/lift and bend continuously; lift up to 50 pounds; climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times during the shift.
• Must be able to work in a noisy, wet and cold environment of approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Must be able to work 6 consecutive days, overtime and weekends if necessary.
• Pushes and pulls barrels on roller deck; safely operates hoists and dryers; transfers filled baskets of product in and out of dryers; ensures transfer of product from shaker to dryer basket and then to production line.
• Handles product that may have a temperature of 32-36 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Performs other duties (such as basic housekeeping) as assigned.
