Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to configure and maintain web application firewalls, protecting client applications from cyber threats. You will monitor traffic, respond to security incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security posture.

Terraform will automate deployments across Cloudflare and Imperva environments. You will work in a hybrid model with opportunities for continuous training and career growth within a global cybersecurity practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/IT/cybersecurity.
• 1–2 years in web app security operations focused on WAF management.
• Hands-on with WAFs such as Cloudflare and Imperva.
• Terraform for infrastructure automation preferred.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize WAFs to secure web applications.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor traffic and security events to identify threats.
• Analyze security incidents and perform remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate incidents.
• Develop and maintain WAF policies and documentation.
• Support security audits and adherence to standards.
• Stay current with threats and security technologies.
