Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to configure and maintain Web Application Firewalls, protecting client applications and data from threats. You will monitor traffic, analyze security events, and respond to incidents while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen security.

This role requires hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva, proficiency with Terraform, and a solid understanding of web security basics.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in web application security operations, focusing on WAF management.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva WAFs.
• Proficiency with Terraform for IaC.
• Strong understanding of web app protocols and security best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and optimize WAF solutions for web apps.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor traffic and security events for threats.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root cause remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams.

• Support security audits and assessments.
• Stay current with threats and security technologies.
