Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in web application security operations focusing on WAF management.
• Hands-on experience with WAF solutions such as Cloudflare and Imperva.
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation is preferred.
• Strong understanding of web protocols, security principles, and best practices.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident ticketing systems.
• Certifications such as CISSP or Security+ are a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize WAF solutions to enforce security controls for web apps.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor application traffic and security events to detect threats.
• Analyze security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain WAF policies, rules, and documentation.
• Support security audits and assessments to meet standards and policies.
• Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies to improve posture.
