Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to implement and manage Web Application Firewall solutions, protecting client applications from cyber threats. You will work with cybersecurity professionals to establish effective security measures for web apps and data.

You will monitor traffic, respond to incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture using WAFs such as Cloudflare and Imperva, and IaC with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in web application security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva WAFs.
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize WAF solutions to secure web applications.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor application traffic and security events for threats.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to respond to incidents.
• Develop and maintain WAF policies and documentation.
• Support security audits and ensure compliance.
