Job summary

EY is seeking a WAF Operations Solution Engineer to implement and manage Web Application Firewall solutions, protecting client applications from cyber threats. You will monitor traffic, respond to incidents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security.

You will work with Cloudflare and Imperva, and use Terraform for IaC to automate deployments. The role requires 1-2 years in web app security ops and a Bachelor’s in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in web application security operations.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudflare and Imperva WAF solutions.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize WAF solutions to protect web applications.
• Provide ongoing operational coverage of web application firewalls.
• Monitor application traffic and security events to identify threats.
• Analyze security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to resolve incidents.
• Develop and maintain WAF policies and documentation.
• Support security audits and ensure policy compliance.
• Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies.
• Utilize WAF tools and Terraform IaC for automated deployment.
