Dunham & Jones, Attorneys at Law PC in Waco, TX is seeking a Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a busy criminal defense practice, including misdemeanors and felonies with a focus on DWI cases.

Responsibilities include assisting clients by phone, email and in person; serving as a liaison between attorneys and clients; entering new client information into the case management system; heavy scheduling; and general clerical duties.

Formación

• Legal Assistant experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Our growing criminal defense law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant in our Waco, TX office. We operate a busy and highly successful practice with 16 offices supporting over 150 Attorneys. We primarily handle criminal defense misdemeanors and felonies, focusing on DWI cases. We operate as a highly cooperative and collaborative firm, helping to ensure all of our clients receive the best possible service. Our team is detail-oriented driving our growth into new and old markets.

Responsibilities and duties:

• Assists attorneys with clients via phone, email, and in person with questions or concerns
• Act as liaison between attorneys, clients and other staff members
• Enter new clients information into the case management system and maintains the file
• Heavy scheduling
• Filing, backup phone operator & other clerical duties

Qualifications:

• Legal Assistant experience is preferred
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred
