Gig Harbor Court Independent Living and Assisted Living is seeking a Caregiver/Care Partner to support seniors in daily living activities and deliver compassionate care.

The role emphasizes clear communication with residents and staff, and participation in ongoing training to promote resident well‑being.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing with residents and staff.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred.
• HCA and/or CNA certification gives priority and state requirements vary.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Provide compassionate care to seniors and support independence.

Highlights of the Caregiver/Care Partner Position:

• HCA and/or CNA certification give priority
• Possesses applicable certifications as required by state
• A minimum of one-year relevant experience working with older adults (priority given)
• Ability to communicate effectively (in English), both verbally and in writing with residents and staff
• Must be able to regularly life and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 190 pounds with assistance of a second employee and/or mechanical devices.

The salary for this position is $21.00.
